Your appointment, start to finish
How booking, confirmations, and cancellations work at Bamboo Dental — so nothing catches you by surprise.
1. Booking an Appointment at Bamboo Dental
Choose the option that works best for you:
Book online: Schedule an appointment at any time using our online booking link.
Request a call: Complete our call request form, and a member of our Smile Support Team will contact you.
Call us: Speak with our team at 905-505-2061 during office hours.
Visit us: Stop by during office hours, and we’ll help you book an appointment in person.
New patients:
Please send us your completed new patient forms and insurance information before the day of your appointment. This helps us prepare for your visit and make the most of your time with your dentist or dental hygienist.
2. Appointment Confirmations and Reminders
Your next appointment may be scheduled several months in advance. To help you plan ahead and make appointment times available to patients who need them, our Smile Support Team will contact you before your visit.
What to expect
Confirmation request: One to two weeks before your appointment, we’ll send you a text message asking you to confirm. Please reply to keep your appointment confirmed.
Follow-up: If we don’t receive a reply, our team will follow up by phone or text.
Unconfirmed appointments: If we have not received your confirmation at least 48 hours before your appointment, we will cancel the appointment and notify you.
Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a reminder 48 hours before your visit and another on the day of your appointment. These are reminders only; you do not need to confirm again.
3. Attendance Policy
We reserve your appointment time especially for you. To respect the time of your dentist or dental hygienist and make appointments available to other patients, please give us at least 48 business hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
To cancel or reschedule, please call and speak with a team member. We cannot accept cancellations by voicemail or text message. Speaking with us allows us to confirm your request, help you reschedule, and ensure your account is updated so a fee is not charged in error.
A $75 fee will be added to your account if you miss a confirmed appointment or cancel with less than 48 business hours’ notice. We understand that emergencies and transit disruptions happen. Please call us as soon as possible so we can review your circumstances.
