Dr. Flor Malave

DDS

Dr. Flor Malave has been practicing dentistry since 1999. She got her first dental degree in Venezuela, her native country. For the first four years of her career she had the opportunity to work as a general dentist, establishing her own dental practice. She also had the opportunity to work at the Venezuelan Military Navy.

Looking for new challenges and opportunities in life, Dr. Malave immigrated to Canada with her family in 2003. In 2009, Dr. Flor Malave graduated from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. To ensure her patients receive the best possible care, Dr. Flor Malave participates in yearly continuous education courses so as to keep abreast of the latest techniques. Dr. Malave is fully fluent in English and Spanish.

Our spanish dentist Dr. Flor Malave practices all aspects of general dentistry. She is passionate about making sure that all of her patients have the best dental care and an amazing experience. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Malave loves spending quality time with her husband and three daughters.

Dr. Pooja Sharma

DDS

Dr. Pooja Sharma pursued her Bachelors of Dental Surgery degree from KLE University of Dental Sciences in 2013. She has practiced in India as an associate for over 2 years providing Comprehensive dental care and aesthetic treatment.

She moved to Canada in 2015 and received her license to practice as a General Dentist from the National Dental Exam Board of Canada and is a certified member of the Ontario Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Ontario.

Dr. Sharma is very passionate about her work and thrives to stay on par with the latest techniques and procedures to provide the utmost care and best experience to her patients.

She enjoys spending her leisure time reading books, hiking, and traveling with her family.

Dr. Sharma is fluent in English and Hindi.

Dr. Ana Urdaneta (Orthodontist)

Orthodontist

Dr. Ana Urdaneta is an experienced Orthodontist that puts in her priority list theconcerns and inputs of her patients, approaching each and everyone of them as an individual.

Dr. Urdaneta was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where she completed a Bachelor of Science and graduated from dental school with honours, being at the top of her class (Magna Cum Laude). She obtained a Masters of Science degree in Orthodontics at Intercontinental University in Mexico City in 2006, and was privileged to have received her specialty Certification in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto where she is a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthodontics.

Dr. Ana performs regular Orthodontics treatment as well as Invisalign to all ages patients.

Working both at the University of Toronto and in private practice, she has learned the importance of understanding the patient’s needs and desires in order to achieve successful treatment outcomes.

Dr. Urdaneta is a member of the following associations:

• Ontario Dental Association
• Royal College of Dentists of Canada (Fellow)
• Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario

Dr. 'Ana' as she is fondly called by her patients is married and has a daughter and a son as well as the cutest rescue dog. She likes to spend her free time relaxing with her family. She enjoys sports and she is an avid Blue Jays and Raptors fan! She is fluent in both English and Spanish and we are proud to have her as part of our team at Bamboo Dental

Royan Yaqoobi

Dental Hygienist

Royan is one of our Registered Dental Hygienist at Bamboo Dental. She obtained her Dental Hygiene License from the CDHO in 2019 and has been a member of our team since 2022.

Royan aims at providing the best individualized dental hygiene education and comprehensive treatments for her patients in order to achieve the healthiest smile possible for them. She cares for all of her patients, specially her pediatric patients. She believes healthy dental habits begin from early childhood, not by just hearing it but by UNDERSTANDING why these healthy habits are crucial.

Outside of the clinic, Royan enjoys spending time with her family and two kids.

Royan is fluent in English and Farsi.

Roya Mohammadzadeh

Dental Hygienist

Roya Mohammadzadeh is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She brings over seven years of experience in the dental field, having worked as a dental assistant before earning her hygiene license last year.

She is dedicated to creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient while providing high-quality preventive care. She believes in the importance of patient education and works closely with each individual to develop personalized oral health routines.

Her favorite part of the job is “helping patients feel confident in their smiles.
